Clarissa Fernandez Pratt was raised in Zapata, Texas and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2008. She attended Texas Tech University School of Law and graduated in 2011. After internships at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas, Paso del Norte Civil Rights Project, the Innocence Project, and multiple high-ranking judicial internships all over the state of Texas, Ms. Pratt started her career as a criminal prosecutor at the Nueces County District Attorney’s Office and handled thousands of cases ranging from DWIs to murders. Ms. Pratt then transferred to San Antonio and was employed by the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office and was an Assistant District Attorney for 8 years and handled misdemeanors and felony cases. Clarissa Fernandez Pratt also represented the Department of Family and Protective Services in Bexar County and has invaluable insight into CPS cases and family law cases. Clarissa Fernandez Pratt powerfully advocates on behalf of all her clients.
